    Light Heavyweight Terrance Woods of Bay City, Texas faced Brandon Singleton of Grand Prairie, Texas in a scheduled four round bout.

    Woods came into the fight at 6-0 with 4 KO's, most recently taking a four-round unanimous decision over the journeyman Anthony Greeley in Houston in August.

Singleton, a southpaw, brought a record of 2-3 with 1 KO, last losing by 2nd round TKO to Michael Brooks in Albuquerque in June.

     After round one a left hand shot at the start of the second round sent Singleton to the canvas, and it was over, just two seconds into round two.

"El Tigre" Claws Taylor!!

    Light Heavyweight Alfonso "El Tigre" Lopez of Cut ' n Shoot, Texas easily took down Tiwon Taylor of Las Vegas in a scheduled six-round bout.

Lopez came in undefeated at 17-0 with 14 KO's, having knocked out his last three opponents inside of five rounds.

 The 35-year-old Taylor brought a record of 26-17-1 with 19 KO's.

       Taylor had at one time sported a record of 21-3-1 before his career began to slide in 1997.

   Taylor had lost nine of his last eleven fights and been knocked out three of his last four outings, although he did go eight rounds in losing a unanimous decision to Joe Spina in Rhode Island last May.

 Lopez continued to dominate the second round until a right hand dropped Taylor, and the referee stopped the contest at 1:41 of round two.

 

 

Castaneda Crushes Burns!

Welterweight Fernando Casteneda of Mexico pounded out Josh Burns of Garland, Texas in a scheduled six round bout.

Castaneda came in at 4-4 with 1 KO, winning his last three fights, while Burns brought a record of 3-7-5 with 1 KO, and had lost his last four fights by either four or six round decision.

Castaneda continued to hammer Burns against the ropes in round four and into round five, when a series of ongoing and unanswered combinations forced the referee to stop the contest at 1:52 of the fifth round.

 

Castaneda Whacks Williams!

Welterweight Ivan "Pitbull" Casteneda of Mexico City took on Deshuan Williams of Bay City, Texas in a scheduled four-round bout.

     Castaneda came in at 2-1 with 1 KO while it was the pro debut of Williams.

Castaneda began connecting early, while Williams wildly tried to counter in round two.

Castaneda continued to dominate in round three, although Williams did rally back with a right to the head, followed by several other solid connecting shots.

 The fighters continued to trade into round four.

 But Castaneda began to land more cleanly, eventually wobbling Williams toward the end of the final round.

Two judges scored it 40-36 for Castaneda, while the third had it 39-37, giving him the unanimous decision!
